Home sales are down 15% from last year at this time.


The average sold price for single family homes INCREASED 15%.


The average days on market DECREASED 10 Days.


The amount of available inventory had DECREASED buy 1 week.





Bottom Line


With Low inventory, the balance of supply and demand have stayed steady. leading to another month of competition among buyers. The 15% increase on the average home price. Inventory still very low at 3 weeks. Makes it desirable for sellers.


But on the buying side. Buyers need to consider. Even with a 15% increase in home prices, now is still a great time to buy.


Interest rates are low!! but they are expected to Increase!!


With an expected seasonal increase of inventory, waiting will only cost buyers more money in the future.

This is great for buyers. It is often better to buy when rates are low not when house house prices are low.
